When we issue a correction
We issue a correction whenever we discover — or are shown — that something on Sentrly is factually wrong. This applies to numbers, product behaviour, pricing, technical claims, names, dates, and quotations. Our default is transparency: we'd rather mark and fix an error than quietly rewrite it.
How corrections are marked
When the change is material, we add a short note at the bottom of the article that says what was wrong and when it was corrected — for example: Correction (2026-04-12): an earlier version of this article said the protocol used UDP only; it supports both TCP and UDP. The section has been rewritten.
Minor copy edits (typos, broken links, formatting) are made silently and do not require a correction note.
Response timeline
We aim to acknowledge correction requests within two working days and resolve them within five. Complex requests that need vendor confirmation may take longer; we'll tell you that's the case.
How to request a correction
Email us with "Correction" in the subject line. Include the URL, the specific claim, what you believe is correct, and ideally a primary source. Anonymous correction requests are welcome — but the more verifiable evidence you can share, the faster we can act.
Right of reply
If a correction concerns a named company or person, we offer them a reasonable opportunity to comment before we publish the corrected version, where the timeline allows.
